Traveling Workshops/Seminars & Training/Practice ****(WE COME TO YOU!)

Need a workshop/seminar or training/practice on-site at your own location?!

WE WILL TRAVEL TO YOU! (rats, straw, birds, decoys etc. & all!)

(We can design a workshop/seminar + training/practice based on your individual club's/group's needs, so be sure to reach out to us if anything below needs to be tweaked or you have another idea in mind!)

How much does it cost?:

1 Day (Saturday): For a full 8 hr day (1 hr break for lunch), we require you to fill 10-12 working spots (dogs/handlers team @ $65.00 each) and offer unlimited audit spots (individuals who participate in the classroom portion but only observe during dog work @ $35.00 each). *additional fee for gas mileage, depending on distance also required to cover gas expenses.

2 Days (Saturday + Sunday): For two full 8 hr days (1 hr break for lunch each day), we require you to fill 10-12 working spots (dogs/handlers team @ $125.00 each) and offer unlimited audit spots (individuals who participate in the classroom portion but only observe during dog work @ $60.00 each). *additional fee for gas mileage, depending on distance also required to cover gas expenses.

2 1/2 Days (Friday evening + Saturday + Sunday): For two full 8 hr days (1 hr break for lunch each day) plus an additional 4 hrs on Friday, we require you to fill 10-12 working spots (dogs/handlers team @ $180.00 each) and offer unlimited audit spots (individuals who participate in the classroom portion but only observe during dog work @ $90.00 each). *additional fee for gas mileage, depending on distance also required to cover gas expenses.

How we save you money?: (1) We don't charge you for our travel time, other than the gas expense (many other trainers charge $250 per travel day). (2) We don't require you to pay for a hotel (we travel with our camper trailer and are self-sufficient! Having a space for us to park at your location is great, and having hookups would be even better, but not required. We will make do!). (3) We don't require you to pay for lunches/dinners (we are gluten-free and Ketogenic, so we're used to preparing our own meals!).

What topics will be covered?: Any of the topics that we already cover at our home location, or other topics with prior approval (talk to us and let us know what you are looking for!) can be covered at your own location. Some examples are:

Barn Hunt: We can do a Friday evening "Intro to Barn Hunt" session for all newbies, then on Saturday do a morning session of all practice (basic run through), then on Saturday evening, do a handlers workshop/seminar to focus specifically on handler skills, then Sunday do a full day of practice. The options are really unlimited, and depend upon what your and your club needs! (Feel free to contact us to discuss what would be best for you and your members!)

Gun Dog: We could do something more traditional like a Saturday and Sunday workshop/seminar, with alternating classroom and hands on drills for the full 2 days, or we could do specifically a drills workshop on Saturday, where we focus completely on drills for your gun dog, and then do a handler component later in the evening and then on the second day (Sunday) allow for practicing what was learned. (Feel free to contact us to discuss what would be best for you and your members!)

What to expect?: All of our workshops/seminars are run similarly, in that we start with classroom work, and then go into hands on learning. For training/practice, we let you dig right into the hands on learning component, and allow you to simply practice what you have learned, or continue to engage by teaching/training as you work with your dog. (Contact us so we can talk about your club's needs!)

What is better? A workshop/seminar or training/practice?: For individuals who are new to a particular sport/topic, it is excellent to incorporate at least a 4 hr workshop to get some of the basics down. Often times an 8 hr workshop/seminar is the best choice, if all of your group members are fairly new to the topic/sport and want to soak up as much information as possible.

If you have seasoned group members/dogs, then scheduling a full weekend of practice/training might be the best option. It really depends on your own group's needs, and we can certainly help you figure out what is best!

The most economical option is utilizing the full 2 1/2 days, to incorporate whatever topics you want covered and include a lot of practice/training time for your members (we offer a discount calculated in above)!
